Varsity Bucks Bag Tournament

Thursday, March 26 was Cody's Varsity Baseball debut, as a Freshman. When giving the opportunity to go with the Varsity Team to the Bucks Bag Tourney, he was told you may or may not play, just go and be supportive. So Thursday the first game was at 1:00 and after the first inning and two pitchers, we were down 12-0 and here comes Cody out of the bullpen. He did pretty good, struck out a couple, only walked two and there were many errors on the team. With a little help it could have been better. He pitched for 2 and 1/2 innings! They lost both games but we are off to game 3 this morning.

Hagerman Trip

Due in going to the coast in October, Dave's job finally being busy again and Cody going to the Varsity Bucks Bag Tournament this Spring Break, we took off Sunday morning with The Roseberry's for a 2 day trip to Hagerman, Idaho. On our way there, we stopped at the winery and ended up buying a case of wine then on to the big town of Hagerman. We stayed at Steve sister, Karen's house. The boys and Shelby all fished in the wind then we went to the Hot Springs. The next day we fished again and it was windy again. Steve, Dave, Ann and I went off on an adventure looking for a place that Dave was bound and determined to find and by gosh, HE DID! It was a beautiful place on the Snake River! We ended up at Wilson's Bar but didn't get to crazy since we had to come home and end our 2 day stay! We tried to talk Dave into staying but it didn't work. Windy or not it was a great time!

Beginning of Baseball Season

Saturday, March 14th was the beginning of Middleton High Frosh Baseball season and with 3 games behind them, they are 2-1. The 1 loss was a tough one, with a lead of 7-2 in the bottom of the 4th inning and then losing 10-9 in extra innings against BK!

Booster Club Dinner

After about 6 months of a lot of hard work and time, the booster club dinner "Take me Out to the Ballgame.." is over and was successful. We had a great group of friends that pulled it all together last weekend from decorations to clean-up! What a relief to be done with such a large event!

Braces! Braces! Braces!

Today, March 2nd "Dr. Seuss Day", Shelby was lucky enough to get on her top braces. The orthodontist which is the same one that Cody goes to, Dr. Smith did a great job. He told her that she would only need to wear "Headgear" to school.... LOL. She will need to have the bottom ones put on in 2-3 appointments. Cody had a check up and he is really close to getting his off, if he continues to wear his rubber bands!!! His bite isn't quite right yet! So now we have two as Dave says "BRACE FACES.." Isn't he a nice dad?? Being that it is Dr. Seuss Day..all I can say is when Cody and Shelby get their braces off... "Oh, the places you'll go.."
