Labor Day Weekend 2009

This weekend was spent with both family and friends. For the 4th year in a row, we headed up to Garden Valley to Dave's Mom and Dad's house. This year as in years past, we were joined by great friends and family! Heather, Tyler, Mom, Ann, Steve, Tracy, Mark and all the kids. Most were camping and a few like Dave and myself were staying in the house. Although the weather was a little cooler this year, we were able to enjoy the same things and more. Some fishing, hanging out at the swimming hole, hot springs, volleyball, horseshoes, badmitten and campfires!!! The worst part was that my camera is malfunctioning and I wasn't able to get many pictures so I will have to rely on my friends to send me some and work on getting the camera fixed!!

Another Swim Day!

Saturday was another beautiful day and we were able once again to enjoy the pool before Fall comes! We hope to have a few more weekends just like this one!

Seattle Trip

We were lucky enough to go to Seattle for a few days and watch 3 Mariners games. And the Yankees were in town. We all had a blast, walking the town, hanging out at the games and just being together. The funny thing was that the Mariners lost all 3 games that we saw in Seattle and the 4th game of the series was Sunday night and we were home and the Mariners won! The pictures at the Market are by the bubble gum wall!

Car Washing at Grandma Cathy's House

We were at Mom's house for a Sunday night dinner, when the thought that both my car and my sister's car needed to be washed crossed our minds. The kids were bored as usual so why not? So we asked the girls, "Want to wash the cars?" Their answer, "NO!" Our reply, "How about for $5.00?" And they were off!!!!

Shelby's Summer Fun with Cousins!

Last Friday, Shelby left with Grandma and Grandpa to go to Ferndale, Washington to pick up her cousin, Cassidy, for a week or so. They stayed at Uncle Danny and Aunt Tracy's for a couple of days (went back to school shopping, berry picking, etc.). then came back to Idaho. They went up to Garden Valley to Grandma and Grandpa's and after the storming weather they are back at our house for some swimming fun! We will be taking Cassidy to Seattle with us at the end of the week and Tracy or Danny will pick her up there!
