Shelby and Softball
Once again Shelby is playing Softball, this year with the hopes of making a decision (Should she play Softball or run Track in the Spring her Freshman year?) Dave is coaching the 14U Middleton Softball team and I have to say he deserves much credit. What a fun year to coach but also a tough age! So far they have had 3 games and lost all 3 but that is another story!!! One that Dave would love to share if you have time :)
Graduation
If you follow my blog you know of the wonderful friendship that we have with The Roseberrys, on Tuesday, May 25th~ Joe graduated from Middleton High School-Class of 2010. Wow, how time flies! We look forward to watching Joe grow into a wonderful young adult as the years go by and we now realize how quick it to will come to be our turn to have one graduating from High School!
Braces On....Braces off
Wednesday, May 26th the time had finally come for Cody to get his braces off. He got them on in October of his 8th grade year of Middle School. With a little more hard work and remembering to wear that retainer, they will be perfect! One down and one to go!!

Mother's Day 2010
This year for Mother's Day we decided to go back to Sawtooth Winery. We only stopped going because it was so crowded! It was crowded again but worth the crowd. It was a beautiful day to spend outside with all the people I love. Now today we are back to our busy life of work and school plus

Shelby's 14th Birthday Party
Saturday was a very busy day...We had planned Shelby's 14th Birthday Party for 7pm with 18 boys and girls invited. We knew it would be busy since Shelby had an AAU Jamboree at the Homecourt Y in Meridian at 11:30 and 1:00 then she was asked to stay and play again at 2:00 and 3:00. We were able to make it to Costco to pick up her cake and home by 5:00. Then she got ready with a friend already here and Dave and I ran around like crazy trying to get the house and yard ready. I'm not sure if it really mattered since they would have had fun no matter how the house and yard looked! Tomorrow she turns 14!!!!
First Middle School Track Meet
Thursday was Shelby's first Middle School Track Meet of the season. We were lucky to be in Middleton as the Varsity Baseball team was playing Kuna at home also :) Shelby ran in the 4 x 200, 100, and the 200. She didn't have a chance to Triple jump this week hopefully next week at Columbia. Their 4 x 200 won but was disqualified due to an exchange, then she ran the 100 and got 3rd in the first heat and her final race was the 200 and she placed 2nd. Overall a great track meet!
The Baseball team lost that night but came back and won the next night in Kuna!
