This year we celebrated Mother's Day at The Roseberry's and had a wonderful time. I decided it was time to take pictures again and although everyone complains they all "love" them once they are over. We had great food, wine, family and friends! The weather was beautiful about 70 degrees. The kids played baseball, softball and Joe and Cody even went swimming in the canal. We had a Mother's Day video that featured all the Mom in attendance and even some others.

NAMPA — Freshman Cody Mathews struck out five and K.J. Herbert doubled home the winner in the top of the sixth, lifting eighth-seeded Middleton to a 2-1 upset of top-seeded Emmett in the first round of the District III-4A baseball tournament at Rodeo Park.
Jared Blacker put Emmett up in the second, but the Vikings answered with a Trevor Maughan RBI in the fifth before Herbert's winner.

Dave will try to stay busy at work, which has been pretty tough lately and I will begin IRI testing at Heights. I am sure that there will be some surprises as the week progresses!

Is it Summer Yet?

I needed to make a change to our family blog because the weather is bringing me down!! It is time for flip-flops and sun NOT SNOW and especially not SNOW tomorrow morning! I know this is Idaho and anything can happen. I guess that is what I like about Idaho, it will snow tomorrow and be 80 by Sunday. Gotta love it!

Shelby turns 13 on Easter Sunday!

The last time Shelby's birthday fell on Easter Sunday was the year that she turned 2 and now once again but this time turning 13 her birthday was on Easter Sunday! We celebrated a couple times this year, on Saturday, her friends came over for an Easter Egg hunt, pizza, cake and movies. Sunday morning on our way to Heather and Tyler's house for Easter dinner, Dave, Cody, Shelby and I went to Wahoozs or Boondocks for some fun! All and all, I think she had a great birthday!!

Varsity Bucks Bag Tournament

Thursday, March 26 was Cody's Varsity Baseball debut, as a Freshman. When giving the opportunity to go with the Varsity Team to the Bucks Bag Tourney, he was told you may or may not play, just go and be supportive. So Thursday the first game was at 1:00 and after the first inning and two pitchers, we were down 12-0 and here comes Cody out of the bullpen. He did pretty good, struck out a couple, only walked two and there were many errors on the team. With a little help it could have been better. He pitched for 2 and 1/2 innings! They lost both games but we are off to game 3 this morning.
