Our 17th Wedding Anniversary

Saturday, June 27th was our 17th Anniversary- The day started with flowers, coffee and a golf pass for Dave. Then we were off to a baseball game-it was supposed to be a double header that started at 3 and 6 but due to a flooded field there was only one game that started at 4pm. Dave worked in the announcers booth, Shelby worked in the ticket booth and I worked in the concession stand. After the game, our friends-Ann, Steve, Tim, Tina and Dave's parents went to The Smoking Vine (Tim and Tina are the owners). We did some wine tasting and then headed off to get something to eat at the local Mexican restaurant in Star. It was a fun evening! So fun that we haven't done much of anything today!

What did we do with the kids? Oh, they along with most of Cody's American Legion Baseball team all went to the movies. It is kind of nice that they are getting older! Oh and the game well they lost. Cody pitched 5 innings the score was 7-4 Vallivue then KJ pitched and it ended up 13-9 Vallivue in the 9th inning!

The Swimming Pool is Coming!!

Finally!

The pool liner has been ordered and is on it's way! Although we have lots to do around the yard and pool still and very limited time, we will be swimming this summer! The liner should be here and ready to install by July 4th. So hopefully, we will be swimming by mid-July!

Softball Fun!

Last weekend was spent in Fruitland, three games Friday and 3 games Saturday plus Cody had a game Saturday evening! Shelby's team lost the first two then won. On Saturday, they lost the first game then won and played a third game and lost. Cody's legion team won 10-0 in 5 innings Saturday. Both kids pitched in their winning games.

Happy Mother's Day 2009

Ann, Joe and Sam

Heather, Gabrielle and Blake

Michelle, Cody and Shelby

Cathy, Michelle and Heather

Diana and Dave (missing Dan)
This year we celebrated Mother's Day at The Roseberry's and had a wonderful time. I decided it was time to take pictures again and although everyone complains they all "love" them once they are over. We had great food, wine, family and friends! The weather was beautiful about 70 degrees. The kids played baseball, softball and Joe and Cody even went swimming in the canal. We had a Mother's Day video that featured all the Mom in attendance and even some others.

Jared Blacker put Emmett up in the second, but the Vikings answered with a Trevor Maughan RBI in the fifth before Herbert's winner.
